Financing Opportunity in Education for Union County

On April 8, the Union County Educational Services Commission finalized the acquisition of 53 Cardinal Drive in Westfield. This office building will be transformed into a cutting-edge special education school and resource hub.

This expansion gives the Commission space to better serve the growing community and provide specialized educational resources for students with diverse learning needs.

What does this mean for Union County families? More opportunities, support, and access to resources, ensuring every child can learn in an environment built around their needs.

While Nylema Nabbie handled the land use application process, Ted Del Guercio, with assistance from Bernadette Chillemi, worked with the Commission to clear the legal hurdles and get this project across the finish line, helping make high-quality, student-centered education a reality for Union County families.
