National Mentoring Month: Spotlight on Partner, Jessica Almeida
This National Mentoring Month, we’re spotlighting the work of MS&B Partner Jessica Almeida. Jessica is a dedicated mentor to Kiwanis Club presidents across Essex County, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support with fundraising, community projects, and problem-solving.
Through her leadership, Jessica helps these leaders to grow their clubs, increase membership, and create lasting community impact. Neil Malvone, President of Caldwell-West Essex Kiwanis, shared his thoughts on working with Jessica:
“To me, the key to being a good mentor is patience and expertise, and Jessica embodies both. She is patient when I have questions about protocols and procedures that more seasoned members know through experience. She allows me enough room to be my own leader but is always there when I need a hand.
When it comes to expertise, I am fortunate to learn from someone like Jessica, who has been involved with Kiwanis since middle school and has served in multiple leadership roles. I am grateful for her mentorship - I’ve grown as a Kiwanis member and as a president under her guidance.”
We’re proud to support her leadership and positive influence on the next generation of community leaders.
