Biography
Maneza M. Ali is a governance and redevelopment paralegal at McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC in New Jersey. She has her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from China Foreign Affairs University and her master’s degree in International Political Economy from Peking University in Beijing China.
She has previously served as a paralegal for the City of Jersey City Law Department and Christopher Law Group in Manhattan. She also served as an AmeriCorps Vista in the City of Jersey City.
Maneza is also involved in the non-profit organization, EMERGENCY USA. EMERGENCY USA is the American affiliate of EMERGENCY, an international humanitarian organization founded in Italy in 1994 in order to provide free-of-charge, high-quality medical and surgical care to victims of war and poverty, together with the promotion of a culture of solidarity, peace and respect for human rights. EMERGENCY currently works in Afghanistan, Iraq, Italy, Sierra Leone, and Sudan.
Maneza was born in Afghanistan and raised in China. She moved to the United States in 2016. Previously she was working in Real Estate and she was a teacher for many years while she was pursuing her education. Maneza was deeply involved in her community back in China mentored and assisted schoolgirls and boys with education and gender inequity in rural China.
