Shoshana Schiff Appointed Essex County Trustee to New Jersey State Bar Association Board
McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is pleased to announce that Partner Shoshana Schiff was sworn in on May 14, 2026, as the Essex County Trustee on the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board of Trustees.
Shoshana has dedicated decades of service to the New Jersey legal community through her leadership and involvement in numerous professional and charitable organizations. She previously served as President of the Essex County Bar Association from 2022 to 2023 and as a member of its Board of Trustees from 2014 through 2024. Her longstanding commitment to service also includes her role on the Board of Trustees of Partners for Women and Justice from 2010 through 2025 and her ongoing service on the Board of Directors of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, where she has been a member since 2007.
In addition, Shoshana has remained actively engaged with Seton Hall University School of Law, serving on its Alumni Council since 1999 and joining the Board of Visitors in 2023.
Her appointment to the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board of Trustees reflects a distinguished record of leadership and dedication to the profession, and positions her to contribute to the governance and direction of one of the state’s leading legal organizations.
