Biography
Aziz focuses his practice on representing public agencies, municipalities, and other public-sector clients in complex transactional and infrastructure matters. He is sought out for his expertise in public procurement and contracting, complex commercial negotiations, public-private transactions, construction claims and disputes, bid protests, and appellate advocacy.
Before joining MS&B, Aziz worked with transportation agencies to advance major construction and infrastructure projects worth billions of dollars to the region, providing counsel on procurement strategy, grant compliance, risk mitigation, and project implementation and oversight. He has played a key role in bringing major railroad bridge and flood resiliency projects to fruition, along with numerous rolling stock acquisitions.
Prior to his work in the transportation sector, Aziz worked as a commercial litigator and municipal attorney, representing clients in litigation and municipal matters.
Aziz earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as an Articles & Comments Editor for the University of Miami Law Review.
