Biography
Daniel Tokarz concentrates his practice in the area of Bankruptcy and Restructuring, representing debtors, creditors, trustees, and other stakeholders in matters involving insolvency, distressed assets, workouts, and complex commercial disputes. He assists clients in navigating financial challenges, protecting their interests, and identifying practical solutions both in and out of bankruptcy proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel was a litigator with Scarinci Hollenbeck, where he represented clients through all phases of litigation, from case assessment and strategy development through settlement negotiations, trial, and appellate matters.
Daniel previously served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Benjamin S. Bucca, Jr. J.S.C., where he managed Judge Bucca’s Prerogative Writ, Civil Law Division and Special Civil dockets. In this role, he gained broad exposure to diverse legal areas, including land use, municipal actions, adverse employment actions, commercial litigation and more.
Daniel earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School. While in law school, he participated in the Rutgers Housing Justice & Tenant Solidarity Clinic, representing tenants in landlord-tenant proceedings and advocating on behalf of clients facing housing-related commercial disputes. He also served as an Associate Editor of the Rutgers Race & the Law Review.
Daniel is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey.
