Biography
Sivani Divakarla concentrates her practice in corporate and business law, assisting clients with a broad range of matters including business transactions, entity formation, governance and commercial matters.
Prior to joining McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC, Sivani served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary S. Brennan, J.T.C., in the Tax Court of New Jersey. She also interned with the Tax Court of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, where she developed strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
While attending Rutgers Law School, Sivani served as Articles Editor of the Rutgers Business Law Review and participated in the Rutgers Federal Income Tax Clinic. Her legal training, combined with her academic background in accounting and business analytics, provides a strong foundation for advising clients on complex business and transactional matters.
Sivani earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, where she studied Accounting and Business Analytics & Information Technology.
