Biography
Sonia DaSilva brings over two decades of legal and operational experience to the firm. Known for her integrity, proactive mindset, and ability to manage complex systems with precision, she has played a key role in strengthening the firm’s internal infrastructure and external presence.
Since joining the firm in 2005, Sonia has advanced through several roles, demonstrating her leadership in compliance, conflict resolution, and team training. In her current role, she oversees the firm’s conflict check system, implenting processes that ensures adherence to legal and ethical standards while managing sensitive client matters with discretion and care. She developed and implemented firm-wide protocols for political and non-political contributions, ensuring compliance with ELEC regulations and state laws.
Sonia also leads the firm's marketing strategy- managing branding initiatives, collaborating with attorneys to highlight case successes, and elevating the visibility of the firm's various practice areas to current and prospective clients. Her creative vision has shaped the firm’s digital and print presence, including its website, social media, and promotional materials.
A strong advocate for professional development and firm culture, Sonia mentors new staff and conducts training on software and compliance protocols, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and team-wide alignment with firm policies. Sonia is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants ("NALA") and serves as a Notary Public of the State of New Jersey.
