MS&B Member Andrea Dobin Approved as Court-Designated Mediator in U.S. Bankruptcy Court
McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is pleased to announce that Andrea Dobin has been approved by the Board of Judges to serve as a court-designated mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
Andrea has built her practice representing Chapter 7 and Chapter 12 trustees, creditors, and other parties in complex bankruptcy proceedings. Through this experience, she has developed a deep understanding of the legal, financial, and practical considerations that often arise in contested matters.
Her selection to the court’s official panel of mediators reflects both her professional reputation and her ability to guide parties toward efficient, practical resolutions. In this role, Andrea will assist litigants in resolving disputes outside of formal litigation, helping to reduce legal costs, minimize delays, and preserve estate value for the benefit of all stakeholders.
Court-approved mediators play a critical role in the bankruptcy process, where negotiated outcomes can often provide more flexible and timely solutions than adversarial proceedings. Andrea’s appointment enhances the firm’s ability to support clients not only in litigation, but also in achieving strategic, cost-effective dispute resolution.
Congratulations to Andrea on this well-earned recognition.
